This course is designed to teach Authors the fundamentals of creating and validating knowledge objects.
The first day begins with a KnowledgeShare™ overview that focuses on the InformEnt usage strategy of building knowledge objects from custom views and disseminating them to business users. The presentation also emphasizes the responsibilities and interrelationships of the five InformEnt user types.
Students will learn the fundamentals of query and report building through the completion of hands-on exercises that illustrate the functionality in the query, results, and reporting sections.
This two-day course is appropriate for inexperienced data warehouse users. It steps slowly through the process of building knowledge objects and provides plenty of practice exercises to reinforce the lessons.

This two-day course is designed to increase knowledge object design skills and demonstrate the advanced query and reporting power of KnowledgeShare™. It will cover the many aspects of Structured Query Language (SQL) as it relates to KnowledgeShare™, including explanations and in-depth work with many of the SQL functions for computing. Additional subject matter will include usage tips and tricks and an introduction to the KnowledgeShare™ Executive Information System (EIS). Business examples, hands-on practice and labs serve to reinforce the material presented in class.
